Website Security Tools
Keep your HTTPS certificate valid and your admin logins hard to guess.

This is a deliberately small hub. It does not scan for malware, test for vulnerabilities or replace a security audit. It covers two everyday tasks that site owners and SEOs run into constantly: making sure the HTTPS certificate on a domain is valid and not about to expire, and creating strong passwords for the accounts that control a site, such as the CMS admin, hosting panel, domain registrar and analytics.
Both matter for search as well as safety. An expired or mismatched certificate makes browsers show a full-page warning, many visitors leave rather than click through, and the trust a site has built takes a hit. A guessed or reused admin password can lead to injected spam pages or links, which are slow to clean up and can damage how a site appears in search results. Neither problem is visible until it happens.
The SSL Certificate Checker connects to a domain on port 443 and reads the live certificate: who issued it, when it starts and ends, how many days are left and which host names it covers. Use it after renewals, migrations or adding a subdomain. The Strong Password Generator creates five random passwords at a time, 6 to 64 characters long, with or without symbols, and skips look-alike characters such as 0, O, 1 and l. Keep them in a password manager.

Frequently asked questions
What does the SSL Certificate Checker show?
It opens a secure connection to the domain and reads the certificate the server presents: the issuing authority, the valid-from and valid-to dates, the number of days remaining and the host names listed as Subject Alternative Names. It flags certificates that are expired or close to expiry, so you can renew before visitors see a browser warning.
Is HTTPS a Google ranking factor?
Google has said it uses HTTPS as a lightweight ranking signal, so it is unlikely to lift a page on its own. The larger effect is practical: browsers label plain HTTP pages as not secure and show warnings for broken certificates, which costs trust and visits. Treat a valid certificate as a baseline every site should meet.
Are the generated passwords safe to use?
Each password is built with a cryptographically secure random number generator from a character set that leaves out easily confused characters. For stronger protection, use a different password for every account, store them in a password manager and turn on two-factor authentication wherever the service offers it. Never reuse an admin password across sites.
Does this hub scan my site for malware or vulnerabilities?
No. These two tools check certificate status and help you create strong credentials; they do not scan files, test plugins or detect malware. For that, use your host’s security tools, a dedicated scanner and the Security Issues report in Search Console. For response headers such as HSTS, the HTTP Header Checker in the technical tools shows what a URL sends.
